Big Idea: Communal Healing
Inquiry Questions:
How are OUR roots OUR strength? How do we build an online class that help us to heal our hearts?
The Story of this project
We started with a class format that included reading a page from the book "How to be More Tree" by Liz Marvin and Illustrated by Annie Davidson, and we reflected about the topic in question. That helped us to introduce the prompt for the drawing of the day.
How do I decide to live my life?
My tree of problems/solutions
What if I were a mother tree...
What does living in harmony mean to me?
What if I just go with the flow and let go?
What does my healing path look like?
It was time for developing a longer project, so we started by answering some guiding questions, creating our own Manifestos. We answered the following questions:
¿Para que estoy yo? What is my purpose?
¿Por qué estoy dispuesto a morir? What am I willing to die for?
¿Cuáles son mis creencias más fuertes? What are my strongest beliefs?
¿Cómo quiero vivir mi vida? How do I want to live my life?
¿Cómo elijo definirme a mí mismo? How do I define myself?
¿Qué cambios necesito hacer para poder vivir mi mejor vida? What are the changes I need to make to live my best life?
¿Con qué palabras quiero vivir mi vida? What are the words I want to live my life by?
We experimented extracting pigments from plants so we could use it as paint. We expressed the words from the manifesto with a drawing painted with plants.

After several classes, we had "The Manifesto" implied in the drawings
