BrainPop are engaging, short animated videos that introduce key topics in science, social studies, and ELA. It provides visual and auditory input to support understanding before reading a text. BrainPOP helps students activate prior knowledge and make connections. Each video introduces and defines important academic vocabulary in context. Interactive word games and quizzes reinforce meaning. Closed captions and read-aloud options help struggling readers and students with dyslexia process new words. After watching videos, students engage in critical thinking prompts, quizzes, and writing activities.
