Welcome Aboard!
Congratulations on being selected to join the Brown Annual Fund Leadership Council (BAFLC). You were chosen due to your outstanding achievements in life and service to Brown. We are honored that you have committed yourself to Brown as a volunteer leader. Without your energy, Brown would not be as strong as it is today.
The Brown Annual Fund Leadership Council is composed of alumni volunteers from across class years and the world who are committed to sustaining Brown's academic excellence. Through philanthropic support and personal outreach, this presidentially-appointed group of volunteers has helped to set new records for the Brown Annual Fund.
Members engage their fellow alumni with the goal of securing Leader-level gifts ($10,000+) and participation in the Annual Fund’s leadership recognition society—the Carrie Tower Society. Established in 2001, annual leadership contributions have grown from $5 million to more than $35 million with help from the BAFLC.

Consider joining the College Hill Society
The secret to the BAFLC’s continued success lies in its thoughtful, authentic, and deliberate approach to asking for gifts. Last year the BAFLC members made more than 1,000 points of contact with their alumni assignments.
Aside from giving days, the two heaviest times for giving are the end of the calendar year (December 31) and end of fiscal year (June 30).
During the weeks leading up to these dates, BAFLC members will connect with their paired alumni to request a gift and thank donors for their generosity. Outside of these time periods you may be asked to make intermittent touchpoints to strengthen the relationship between an alum and the University.
