Composed of 60-80 undergraduate student volunteers every year, the Brown Annual Fund Student Committee is the youngest group of Annual Fund Volunteers. The primary focus of the BAFSC is to educate the Brown student population about philanthropy and the campus areas supported by the Annual Fund (see breakdown below.) Student volunteers educate through fun events, digital marketing efforts, and campus outreach.
While Freshmen, Sophomore, and Juniors do not solicit their peers for gifts, the Senior Gift Committee asks other seniors to contribute gifts of $1 or more to their favorite area of the Annual Fund. The Senior Gift Committee is a special tier of the BAFSC for senior undergraduates who have solicited at least one gift from a peer.
