Setting up a Schedule and a Routine

I know you are each working on home routines and schedules. Young children work well with a schedule that includes visuals. In K1 our Daily Schedule includes visuals and text. Our Daily Routines have big pictures.

On these page you'll find some optional resources I created for you :

- A pdf t with daily schedule pieces. You can print, cut them up and order them in whatever way works for your family. Don't include them all (it is too many for one day!) It includes our school schedule and some "extras" at the end.

-A pdf with pictures for daily home routines. Cut them up and order in whatever way works for your family. (I can create others if you let me know what you need) These are just in case you'd like to try them!

-You can also create your own with your child

Following routine and schedule are a big K1 task. Keeping a routine and following a schedule will set up your child to success when they return to the school building! Including snacks, outdoor play, meals, quiet time, chores can all be part of a home schedule.

CREATE A SCHEDULE THAT WORKS FOR YOUR FAMILY (these resources are just suggestions.

Community: take a photo of your schedule and share with me and I'll share them on the site!
