AASA Tips!
As we go into testing time, your student has worked extremely hard to prepare for this all year long and especially these last few weeks. Be proud of your child and the hard work they've done to get this far! Please continue to be your child's biggest cheerleader and celebrate them. Making testing days "fun" at home can help to ease the anxiety and nervousness that comes with something big and new like this. Find some fun ways to celebrate your child's success on each of the test days! Your student will also not have homework on the night before each core testing (not fluency) day to help you support your child and prep well. Remind your child that they should do their best, but this test does not define them or what they have accomplished this year!
Virtue Focus: Faithfulness
This week we'll be discussing how we can remain faithful to ourselves and be true to our ideals, even when its hard! One way you can encourage this at home is discussing how to do the right thing even when there's peer pressure or when we're tired!
