wonder: first steps to knowledge
"Mystery creates wonder and wonder is the basis of man's desire to understand." -Neil Armstrong
Announcements for this Week:
Please continue to watch dress code. Remember shorts and dresses should be no shorter than 2 inches from the knee. No sleeveless shirts. No leggings or biker shorts should be worn alone.
Please make sure your child is coming with a water bottle to school! This helps to keep them in the classroom during learning so they don't miss out on instruction!
Please keep in mind that no toys should be brought to school. However, with the heat advisory days, students may bring in a board game to play during indoor recess. I will not be keeping track of the game or pieces, so this is your child's responsibility if they choose to bring it.

multiplication facts will be key to math success this year! Please be working with your child at home to get these facts memorized fluently
renaming numbers can be tricky so practice having your child look at a number like 456 and understanding there are 6 ones in that number and then 45 tens. My website includes videos to all of the math lessons that will be taught this year (under the math tab)
