We made it through the first non-review week! The kids did great with a more intense schedule! And they have been ROCKING it with math! We've really been emphasizing having a growth mindset through all of this, so I appreciate your continued support of this same positive attitude at home! Even some of the kiddos mentioned today that it's starting to get more familiar as they're recognizing the academic vocabulary. 

I will be sending home copies of the math lesson intro each night for the lessons we're doing! That way you're able to see more of what we're doing in class to better support your child. I'm also going to be setting up accounts very soon with videos for you as well! Again, thank you SO much for having such a great positive mindset through this transition! 

A few reminders:

• HALF DAY on FRIDAY!

• pay family dues if you haven't already

• send in a copy of a family picture for our classroom community (please write your last name in pencil on the back so I can do my best to return the photo at the end of the year)

• check out the classroom wishlist and donate if you're able to!

• DRESS CODE REMINDERS: shorts and skirts MUST be within 2 inches of the knees; NO biker shorts or leggings are permitted
