Parent teacher conferences are coming up and they will be in person! We can't wait to see you to discuss your student's progress. We will have progress report cards available for pick up during PTC nights. Look for communication from your student's homeroom teacher or team.

This year, in partnership with the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH), schools districts are holding Flu Immunization clinics in schools to provide flu vaccine for students.
CMS Flu Clinic will take place November 1st!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM THE
CREEKSIDE CARDINAL CHOIR ROOM!
THE DATE FOR OUR WINTER CONCERT HAS CHANGED. It will now be on THURSDAY, DEC. 2nd. The times will remain the same, 6th grade concert at 6:30pm, and 5th grade concert at 7:30pm. All of this will take place in the CMS Cafeteria. Students are to arrive 15 minutes before the concert and students are to wear their Creekside Cardinal T-Shirts and any school-appropriate black pants. Ladies that wish to wear a black skirt instead are allowed to do so, but please remember that we will be climbing up and standing on our choral risers for the concert, so keep that in mind.
Also, we have quite a few students who have not yet ordered their choir t-shirts. At this time, the MyPaymentsPlus option online is no longer available. Please send cash or check (made out to Creekside Middle School) to purchase shirts. All shirts are in adult sizes. Shirts ranging from AXS - AXL are $11.45. 2X and larger are $13.45. Please send all money in an envelope with the studentβs name, guardianβs name, and CMS Choir T-Shirt written on the front. If your child needs a shirt but you are unable to purchase one at this time, please let me know your childβs size so that I can get their shirt ordered. Students will need these for our concerts and any other performance opportunities.

Hello parents, and happy fall!
Friendly reminder of two things from the counseling department:
1.) We have a parent Google classroom that will have pertinent information regarding parent involvement, social-emotional learning, community resources, and much more. The code to join is rdnx4d7. Please email Mrs. Parker (anparker@bentonvillek12.org) or Ms. Finer (sfiner@bentonvillek12.org) with any questions regarding that.
2.) We are seeking volunteers to serve on our Parent and Family Engagement (PFE) Advisory Board. The board meets once a quarter for 45 minutes-1 hour. It is composed of parents, admin, staff, and the PFE facilitator (Mrs. Parker) and reflects on and discusses school-based programs, dissemination of school information, collaboration between school and community, and areas of strength and growth when it comes to parent and family engagement. The attached flyer (PFE Advisory Board Flyer) has more information, and below is a Google form for interested parents to sign up!
