You've got mail!
Parents, look for student report cards in the mail this week! If you have any questions please reach out to your student's teachers.
Upcoming Dates:
PTO Sponsored Event has been postponed to March!
Feb 21 - No School! Professional development for teachers
Feb 22 & 24 - Parent Teacher Conferences - Teachers will communicate with parents on how to schedule a conference.
Note from CMS Principal,
During the month of January, we are taking extra precautions to keep students safe. We have added two lunch periods to allow for more social distancing. Each lunch is still 20 minutes long, but if a student does not finish their lunch they are allowed to finish on the stage so our custodians can clean between each lunch period. We hope to return to normal operations after January, but that will be determined at a later date.
Thank you for your support,
Julia Woods
CMS Nurse Updates
Thank you, Creekside!
For the past 4 months I have been covering Creekside Middle School since Nurse Michelle retired. I want to thank each of you for bringing me a smile to my face every single day. I feel very blessed to have been able to take care of your students and to work for Bentonville Public Schools.
Sincerely,
Nurse Silvia Haussner-Vela
Welcome to Creekside!
We are thrilled to welcome Nurse Stan Sence to CMS. He is a registered RN with a ton of experience! We are lucky to have him as a Cardinal!

On February 8th, junior high counselors will introduce the course selection process for 7th grade. All 6th grade students will learn about classes offered at Grimsley Junior High during their PE class on 2/8. Parents will receive step by step instructions for how to sign up for 7th grade classes from Grimsley soon, so keep an eye out for communication.
CMS students participated in the Bike Bentonville challenge and received a grant for more PE 4 Life equipment! We also partnered with Pedal it Forward, an organization who collects, refurbishes, then distributes free or low-cost bicycles to those in need. Fourteen CMS students received a new bike with the help of this program. We are grateful to Pedal it Forward for their community presence. You can also help donate bikes or equipment to their organization by going to pedalitforward.org.
