Attendance Matters!

When students improve their attendance rates, they improve their academic performance.
Chronic absenteeism is when a student misses 2 days a month.
Chronic absenteeism is a leading indicator for low graduation rates.

Construction

LANE CLOSURE

SW 28th Street will have the west bound lane between SW Featherston Rd and SW Been Rd closed starting 7:00am Monday, March 25th through 6:00pm Monday, June 24th for road construction.

Detour signs will be in place. Weather or unforeseen circumstances could postpone this closure. Please contact Transportation Division at (479) 271-3130 with any questions about this closure.

Enjoy the Day Given!

Our amazing assistant principal, Tiffany Ansel, has been diagnosed with breast cancer and this is something she says almost daily. She radiates joy and positivity and we want to honor her by making shirts that embody who she is. With every sale of this shirt and other items, half of the proceeds will go to her and her family and half will go towards breast cancer research at the Susan G. Komen Foundation. LINK

2024 Eclipse Celebration

On April 8th we will celebrate the solar eclipse. All students will receive a pair of certified viewing glasses, donated by the Arkansas STEM Coalition, and a pinhole card for indirect viewing. Teachers will escort students outside for peak viewing at 1:51pm. Students are required to wear the provided glasses to view the eclipse to avoid eye injury.

Time Outside for Eclipse: 1:40-2:00pm

Spring pictures are right around the corner! Pictures will be taken on April 9th. These are optional portraits through Strawbridge Studios.
