Gamer Of The Week: Owen Chan

This weeks gamer of the week is Owen Chan. Owen is a 6th-grade boy that games a lot. The games that own plays most frequently is Fortnite and Titanfall 2. Those are also his favorite games because he likes the fast paced gameplay for Titanfall and he likes the building mechanics and the fact that all of his friends play Fortnite. Owen plays video games for about 2 hours but he can only play every other day. Owen started gaming when he was in 1st grade and he played Halo 3, Blast ultra and Limbo in 1st grade. Owen plays all the games that he does on his Xbox. He loves the Xbox! A skill that Owen has learned while he has been playing video games is his hand-eye coordination which is a really good skill to have when you are gaming. Along with all of the video games that Owen plays his favorite gaming streamer is a twitch streamer called Ninja. Ninja mostly plays Fortnite and is one of the best in the world at it.


Gamer Of The Week: Ryder Drangstveit

This weeks gamer of the week is Ryder Drangstveit. Ryder is an 8th grade boy and is a really good gamer. Ryder plays games like Fortnite, Minecraft and NBA 2K19. Ryder is the best Fortnite player in the school because he has really good aim, has the building mechanics in his head, and knows how to play the game better than anyone else in the school. Ryder's favorite video game is NBA 2K19 because he is better than James Coats and Ryan Blomquist who are also 8th grade boys. On average, Ryder plays for about 15 hours on the weekends and he plays for about 6 hours on the weekdays. Ryder has been playing video games for a year, and will play for a while more. Ryder games on his laptop that he got a year ago, but he used to play on a PS4 before he got his laptop. Ryder likes playing video games because it gets him away from distractions and because it’s fun to play and talk with friends. One skill that Ryder has learned while playing video game is how to improve his reaction time. His reaction time is way better in real life in the time that he has been playing video games. Ryder's favorite gaming content creator is Exalted because he is funny and he teaches him good tips to become better than other players at a game.


Gamer Of The Week: Dane Ganis

This weeks gamer of the week is Dane Ganis. We interviewed him and asked him a few questions. Dane is an 8th-grade student, you may also know him as Shrek in the middle school musical this year. When it comes to gaming, Dane is the person to go to. Dane plays many different games but these are the games he plays most frequently: CS:GO, Rainbow Six Siege, Minecraft, and Call of Duty Zombies. His favorite game is Red Dead Redemption 2. He says it has one of the best open worlds he's ever played in, and the story is superb. It’s an amazing story that was a blast to play through. He also says Minecraft has freedom and he enjoys playing through the game every time he plays. Dane spends at least 2 hours gaming every day, and on the weekends, he wakes up at around one in the morning to game. He has been gaming ever since he was 3 years old when his dad let him play Dead Space. He immediately started to cry after the first jump scare. When Dane started gaming he played on his Xbox, but he recently got a PC and he enjoys playing on it as much as his Xbox. Dane likes to game because it gets him away from reality. He gets to live in a different life and spend his time immersed in the scenarios these games take place in. He has learned to just enjoy the little things and take time to do things on the side. Dane’s favorite twitch streamer is shroud because he is an ex-CS:GO pro and is very enjoyable to watch.


Gamer Of The Week: Kaden Cougran

This weeks gamer of the week is Kaden Cougran. Kaden is a 7th grade boy and really has fun gaming. Some of the video games that Kaden plays is Fortnite and NBA 2K19. Kaden’s favorite video game is Fortnite because it is fun to play with friends and it gives you something to do when you are bored. On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday Kaden can’t play but when he can play he averages about 5 hours of gaming every day. Kaden has also been gaming since he was 8 years old and has loved gaming since he started. Kaden normally games on his Xbox one but when he is over at his friends house he games on different consoles. Kaden loves to game because you can play with friends and playing video games are fun to do when you are bored and have nothing to do.


Gamer Of The Week: Hunter Walcott Coe

This week’s gamers of the week is Hunter Walcott Coe. Hunter is a 7th-grade boy and is a true gamer. He loves to play Call Of Duty Black Ops 3, which is his favorite video game because you can get so many different weapons and it’s all around just a really fun game. He rates it 10/10 stars. Every day, Hunter plays about 6-7 hours of video games. That’s a lot of hours out of your day! Hunter has been gaming for 6 years and he now games on his PS4. One thing that Hunter has learned while gaming is how many video games there actually are. Hunter has played a lot of video games in the 6 years that he has been gaming. Hunter’s favorite streamer is Tfue. Tfue is a professional Fortnite player and many people say that he is the best in the world. Thanks for being the gamer of the week Hunter.

Gamer Of The Week: Luka Weierman

This week’s gamer of the week is Luka Wiereman. Luka is a 7th-grade boy that loves to play video games. Luka mainly plays Fortnite, which is his favorite game because you can get challenges to do around the map and you get rewards when you are done doing the challenges. On average, Luka plays Fortnite for about 1 hour a day. Even though Luka only games for 1 hour a day, he has been playing video games for 5 years. The only console that Luka uses is a PC. He loves the PC because you use a keyboard and mouse in everyday life, so it's easier to memorize the keys compared to a controller. The one skill that Luka has learned from gaming is how to waste his time. Luka really loves to waste his time! Luka’s favorite gaming streamer is Ninjafue because he is a good Fortnite player and is really fun to watch.

This week’s gamer of the week is Brady Lemke. Brady is a 7th grade student and a very hardworking gamer. Some of Brady’s favorite video games to play are Fortnite, Minecraft and Battlefield 5. His overall favorite video game is Minecraft because it has really fun building mechanics and it is really addicting when you play with friends. On average, Brady plays about 1 to 2 hours daily. Brady has been playing on the Wii since he was four but when the PS4 came out, he bought it and has used it since. A skill that Brady has learned while playing video games is being aware of his surroundings and to not give up when you don't know what to do. Brady’s favorite gaming streamer is Pewdiepie, and he thinks that even though Pewdiepie doesn't stream that much, when he does he’s quite fun to watch.

This week's gamer of the week is James Coats. James is an 8th grade student that really loves to game. James plays Fortnite, NBA 2K19, and Red Dead Redemption 2. James’ favorite video game is Red Dead Redemption 2 because it is easy to win against everyone and it is fun to play. On average, James spends 2-4 hours daily playing as many video games as he can. James has been playing video games since he was in kindergarten, starting with the Wii, then the Xbox 360. Now he games on the Xbox One S. One skill James has learned while playing video games is teamwork. To be a good gamer, you have to use teamwork because every game is better when you work as a team instead of by yourself. James’ favorite gaming streamer is Ninja because he is good at Fortnite and he has blue hair. Thanks for being our gamer of the week James.

This weeks gamer of the week is Sophia DeYoung. Sophia is a 7th grade girl. Sophias favorite video game is Star Wars Battlefront. She likes this game because she can play with her sister and have fun together. She plays video games about twice a week, Four hours all together every week. Sophia mostly games on an Xbox. She has been gaming for 5 years and has been having fun since she started. One skill that Sophia has learned while she has been playing video games for is learning what is going on around her in game. When you are gaming you need to have sound to hear other players so she has learned a lot about what is around her during certain times. There are a lot of gaming streamers out there but sadly Sophia doesn’t watch any.

Skyler Markovich

This week's gamer of the week goes to Skyler Markovich! He is an 8th grade student and loves to game. His favorite game is Minecraft because it's an open world, you can do anything, and it’s challenging. On average, Skyler plays about 24 hours a day because he says he's a true gamer. Skyler has been playing video games since he was four years old. That's a long time! Skyler says that he can only play Minecraft and Roblox because his computer is trash. One very important skill he has learned from gaming is how to game harder than what you were able to before. His favorite gaming streamer is TSM Hamlinz. TSM Hamlinz is a professional Fortnite streamer that plays for a team called TSM aka Team Solomid. Thanks for reading this week’s gamer of the week.

Gamer of the week: Liam Baumgartle

This week’s gamer of the week is Liam Baumgartle. He is currently an 8th grade student and is 13 years old. We interviewed him and asked him a couple questions. First we asked him, what game do you play most frequently? He answered, Apex Legends. Next we asked him what his favorite game was, and he said halo one because it was the beginning of first person shooter, and introduced split screen. Our 3rd question was, how long do you play video games daily? His response was 3-4 hours on a week day, and close to 14 hours on weekends! Wow thats a lot of video game time! Next, we asked him how long have you been gaming? He said, since he was 5 years old, on his PS1 unless you count him breaking an xbox when he was 2. Our 5th question was, what device, or console you play on most? He responded by saying, mostly Xbox one but sometimes on his laptop. Then we asked him what life skills you have learned from gaming? He said, gaming has helped his reaction time. Lastly, we asked him who his favorite gamer was, and his response was, Shroud. Shroud is a twitch streamer that mostly plays Apex Legends.
