Elvis Aloha From Hawaii Via Satellite

Elvis Aloha from Hawaii is a Satellite concert in 1973. Elvis Presley shocked the world as he announced in August of 1972 that he was going to do a live broadcasted concert. The concert was seen in over 30 countries, broadcasted live. The non broadcasted rehearsal was filmed on January 12th in Honolulu, Hawaii. It was held at the Honolulu International Center. In the meantime before the concert he lost 30 pounds and got a good tan. He had the suit made by Bill Belew, his jumpsuit designer; the jumpsuit was so heavy he fell over while putting it on before the show. The suit got fixed and was less heavy so Elvis could move. The jumpsuit had an eagle on it with the colors red white blue and gold. The concert was broadcasted on January 14th, 1973 at 12:00 am sharp. When Elvis came out, the crowd cheered; he said it was his most nerve shaking concert he ever did. The Elvis sang 30 songs, including 8 songs never before recorded by Elvis. before he sang “A Big Hunk Of Love,” he took off his belt and gave it to a little girl in the front row. Then, as he sang “Can't Help Falling In Love,” he threw his cape into the crowd and as the closing vamp went off, Elvis left the building with 2.5 billion people watching it worldwide, all of them amazed at the concert Elvis gave. He had the best audience in Hawaii. More people watched the concert than watched the first man walk on the moon. Elvis’ concert was watched by many excited fans. When he left, he ran off the stage and went to the after show where he performed “Early Morning Rain,” “Blue Hawaii,” and “No More.” A couple months after the concert, they did the Elvis Aloha From Hawaii album. It was a double LP. The concert was then put on VHS after he died. Elvis’ concert in Hawaii was held as one of his best concerts if not his best. He said once that the Aloha From Hawaii show was his most nervous show. After 46 years, people all over the world remember the concert Elvis gave.
Panic! At The Disco

Panic! At The Disco is a band created in 2004 that sings many different genres, with many different band members throughout its years as a band. The only constant in the band has been Brendon Urie, the lead singer, but there have been six official members in total:
- Brendon Urie (lead vocals 2004-current)
- Ryan Ross (guitar and background vocals 2004-2009)
- Spencer Smith (drums 2004-2013)
- Brent Wilson (bass 2004-2006)
- Jon Walker (bass 2006-2009)
- Dallon Weekes (bass 2010-2015)
Obviously every band changes their sound slightly between albums, but Panic! has changed a lot. They’ve been known for having an entirely different genre each album.
There’s currently six albums by them: “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out,” “Pretty. Odd.”, “Vices and Virtues,” “Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die,” “Death of a Bachelor,” and “Pray For The Wicked.” The most popular songs are “High Hopes,” “I Write Sins Not Tragedies,” “This Is Gospel,” and “Death of a Bachelor.” Some of my personal favorite songs by them are “Nearly Witches (Ever Since We Met),” and “Far Too Young To Die.”
Many of the members of Panic! At The Disco have done solo projects either while in the band or after being in the band. Recently, Brendon Urie made a song with Taylor Swift, titled ME! Another slightly less recent but still notable solo project is I Don’t Know How But They Found Me, the band that Dallon Weekes created with Ryan Seaman. This band is also really great.
Panic! At The Disco is an amazing band that I truly recommend you listen to.
Chuck Berry

Chuck Berry is an American singer. He was born on October 18th, 1926 and died on March 18th, 2017. His hits were “Johnny B Goode,” “Promised Land,” “Run Run Rudolph,” and “You Never Can Tell.” Chuck Berry has many albums. He was born in St Louis, Missouri and signed with Mercury records. His best records were “After School Session” in 1957, “St Louis to Liverpool” in 1964, and “Chuck” in 2017. His music are toe tingling rockers. Chuck Berry was a good singer; his music was good. His best hit was “Johnny B Goode.” He was also a great guitar player and used gibson guitars. He did a lot of records in the 50s, and then the 60s, more records he did a lot of live performances in the 70s. He was a world renowned singer all across the decades.

Queen

World famous British rock Band Queen is just a sensation making countless hits and bringing the Rock industry pure joy. The band members consisted of lead singer Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon, and Roger Taylor. Before the formation of Queen Brian May and Roger Taylor played for a band named called Smiled and soon to be lead singer Freddie was actually a really big fan of the band and attempted to join the band by showing off his singing skills. They were very impressed and allowed him to join and then Queen began. They made many hits from
“Don’t Stop Me Now,” “We Will Rock You”, and the most iconic rock song ever: “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Their music never gets old as proven today with there recent documentary-type film “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Even though their music is from the 60s and 70s their music still is quite a banger and I really recommended you check them out you will not regret it.
As for their music, it’s all quite good if you give it a try and you’ll enjoy it; I have, so you can too. “Don’t Stop Me Now” is one of their best songs in my opinion along with “Bohemian Rhapsody” are some very good songs that every time you replay them they sound very nice and honestly they have some very calming music and you should listen to it trust me you won’t regret it.
The Gibson Guitar

The Gibson guitar is a guitar used by many singers, including Elvis. The guitar was founded in October of 1902. Their headquarters is in Kalamazoo. They have made many acoustic and electric guitars. The guitar is great! It’s the best guitar I have ever used. Elvis used Gibson guitars his whole life. He loved them. The John Lennon guitar that he used sold for 2 million dollars. The Gibson guitar has great sound. Some guitars have cheap sound or have bad strings, but the Gibson has great sound and good strings. The guitar is a high price but it’s worth it. The Gibson Les Paul standard sells for 2,700 to 3,100 dollars. If you like to play the guitar get gibson. The best guitar in town.
Buddy Holly

Buddy Holly is an American singer. He was born September 7th, 1936 and died February 3rd, 1959. He died in that horrible plane crash in 1959 that killed Richie Valens, and The Big Bopper. Buddy Holly was only 22. He got married the year before to Maria Elena Holly. Buddy Holly’s real name was Charles Hardin Holley. His hits were “Peggy Sue,” “That’ll Be The Day,” and “Rave On.” He was a good singer, he sung a lot of rockers. He didn’t make many ballads. His song make you want to get up and dance around your record player. His best album was “That’ll Be The Day.” He died just before he got to fame. He was a good singer, he was a good guy. His best song was Peggy Sue. He got very famous after he died. His songs were loud. His music was good to me. I thought his music was great, my favorite song was “Everyday.” My favorite album was “That’ll Be The Day.”
Old Town Road (remix)

Old town road is a country rap song by Lil Nas x and Billy Ray Cyrus, this song has been #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 for 3 weeks. Lil Nas’ version of Old Town Road is about a lifestyle as a cowboy with adventures and a quest, kinda like a movie. The original Old Town Road was released on December 3, 2018, but the remix was released on April 5, 2019 by Columbia Records. There's another Old Town Road remix that will come out soon featuring Young Thug. Billy Ray Cyrus made the original Old Town Road in 2018, and it didn't get as popular as the remix, but when the remix did come out Lil Nas and Billy Ray Cyrus worked together, so at least Billy Ray Cyrus got something out of making that song.
Waylon Jennings

Waylon Jennings was a singer. He was born on June 15th, 1937, and passed away February 13th, 2002. His first recording session was in 1958; it was set up by Buddy Holly. He was the one that gave Buddy Holly his seat on the plane that crashed in 1959. It killed Buddy Holly, Richie Vallens, and The Big Bopper. Waylon Jennings released a lot of albums. “Waylon and Willie,” “Honky Tonk Heroes,” and “Wymores Blues Part II.” Waylon Jenning’ music is a country music. He is a good singer whose music makes you want to dance.
Fats Domino

Fats Domino was born February 26th, 1928. He sung a lot of rock songs. He lived until he was 89. He died October 24th 2017. He was born in Louisiana. His real name was Antoine Dominique Domino Jr. His best hits were “Blueberry Hill,” and “Ain't That A Shame,” and “Walking To New Orleans.” He released a lot of albums. His best album was “Rockin and A Rollin With Fats Domino.” His hit “Blueberry Hill” featured Elvis Presley. Fats Domino was also a good piano player, he was a good man. He also did a lot of live performances. His best was in Austin City. He also almost died in a hurricane. His songs were sometimes ballads but also some were rockers. Another one of his best albums was “Christmas Is A Special Day” in 1993. His music makes you feel good.
Creedence Clearwater Revival

Creedence Clearwater Revival was a band that formed in 1967. The best hits were “Have you Ever Seen The Rain,” and “Proud Mary,” and “Born on The Bayou.” Creedence Clearwater Revival's band members were John Fogerty, and Tom Fogerty, and Doug Clifford, and Stu Cook. They did many different albums in the late 60s. They were one of the best bands in the 70s. They are a band that also done lots of live shows. Creedence Clearwater is a rock southern folk band that has many slow and fast songs. Creedence Clearwater Revival’s albums are “Cosmos Favorite”, “Willy and the Poor Boys”, and “Bayou Country.” Creedence Clearwater Revival is a band that has won many awards.
Jerry Lee Lewis

Jerry Lee Lewis is a classic singer and piano player. Jerry Lee Lewis was born on September 29th, 1935, and is still alive at 83. His hits were “Great Balls of Fire”, and “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On”, and “High School Confidential.” Jerry Lee Lewis has made many records. He started out at Sun Records in 1955. He is still alive and doing shows in Nashville, Tennessee. He was also part of the Million Dollar Quartet in 1956, with Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and Carl Perkins. They all started at Sun Records with Manager Sam Phillips. Sun Records is now a museum after Sam Phillips died. Jerry Lee Lewis was married 7 times and has been in jail for driving drunk. Jerry Lee Lewis is one of the best piano players in the world and his music will be remembered for a long time to come.
Khalid

Khalid is an American singer-songwriter who sings genres like R&B and pop. He has also started singing country, such as one of his songs called “Saturday Night” with Kane Brown and he is planning to start singing more country.
Khalid is going on a tour for his new album “Free Spirit” called the Free Spirit World Tour, and on July 1 he is coming to Portland at the Moda Center. The opening act is Clario for 31 concerts of the tour, and the others will have different opening acts such as Mabel and Raye.
In 2017, his song “Logic” featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid reached #3 on Billboard's top 100, and “Love Lies” and “Eastside” both reached #9. “Love lies” with Khalid and Normani reached #9 in 2018, and “East Side” with Benny Blanco, Halsey and khalid and reached #9 in 2019.
The Beatles

The Beatles are a rock band that formed in the 60s. Their band members were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison. The Beatles formed in the UK in 1960. The Beatles’ hits were Something, Let it Be, and Hey Jude and so many more. The Beatles have been in many documentaries and films. The Beatles were a band and they had a lot of hits and albums. The Beatles best band member was John Lennon. I think the Beatles had good hits. The Beatles were a good band, not as good as Elvis but good. My favorite song is Let it Be. John Lennon left the Beatles in 1969. Then, Paul McCartney left in 1970. The Beatles music was a soft rock, not too fast. After the two best members had left, the Beatles went downhill.
Nipsey Hussle

Rapper Nipsey Hussle, or his birth name Ermias Joseph, died on March 31, 2019 after a shooting in Los Angeles near his clothing store that he owned, two others were shot at around 3:20 pm. The shooting occurred in Slauson avenue and Crenshaw boulevard.
Nipsey Hussle started his career in 2005 and sadly ended in 2019, but his music got big in 2008. He released his first mixtape in 2005 called “Slauson boy volume 1”
His first song, “Bullets ain’t got no name,” was released in 2008, and the last song he made, “Racks in the middle,” was released in 2019. But Nipsey still didn’t feel like it was enough, even though he had so many songs and he wanted to make more. But his dream, sadly, came to an end.
Johnny Cash

Johnny Cash is a singer that has had many albums. Some of his hits are “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Ring of fire,” and “I Walk The Line.” He was also good friends with Elvis. I like Elvis. Johnny Cash was born February 26th 1932, in Kingsland Arkansas. He sadly died on September 12, 2003.
Johnny Cash was part of The Million Dollar Quartet in 1956 with Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins. Cash went to the army later in 1958 and got back in 1960. He was married twice. Once to Vivian Liberto, from 1954 to 1968. And then he was married to June Carter Cash from 1968 to 2003. Johnny Cash was a great singer, nowhere close to Elvis but he’s good. Johnny Cash music is a rock country blues. His music relaxes you. Johnny Cash is a classic part of our history.
The Jonas Brothers

On October 29, 2013 the Jonas Brothers announced they were officially splitting up, but this year we were all surprised when they got back together.
The Jonas Brothers released a song called “Sucker” released by republic records on March 1, 2019, this song was the first song they made as the new back together Jonas Brothers.
The song was about their wives and how they were all meant to be together and how they love each other
Joe Jonas is married to Sophie Turner, Kevin Jonas is married to Danielle Jonas , and Nick Jonas is married to Priyanka Chopra Jonas. “Sucker” has reached number one in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Mexico, Slovakia, and the United States!
The Jonas Brothers are coming back strong and we can't wait to see what they release next.
Ariana Grande

You may know Ariana Grande from the Nickelodeon show Victorious in which she played Cat Valentine. The show started in 2010 and ended in 2013; from there she went off to another Nickelodeon show titles Sam and Cat which started in 2013 and ended in 2014.
Ariana grande has come out with an album this year called “thank u, next”, the first song was “thank u, next” which was released on November 3, 2018. This song was based around her ex boyfriends, including the death of her ex boyfriend Mac Miller.
Another one of the songs was “7 Rings,” released on January 18 , 2019. 7 rings is about her luxury life, the money and diamonds and hair extensions.
Another one of her songs is “break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored” which came out on February 5, 2019, it’s kind of confusing as to what the song is about, the music video explains it but it's still kinda confusing on what it is.
I would recommend you go watch her music videos and listen to her songs.
Bee Gees
(Staying Alive)

The Bee Gees were a rock band that formed in 1958, but got popular in the 1970’s. Their band members were Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb, and Maurice Gibb. They were mostly known for their 1977 hit Stayin’ Alive.
Stayin’ Alive got popular from the 1977 movie Saturday Night Fever. The movie stars John Travolta who got famous off of the movie. The song is a big hit and almost everybody knows this song.
This song is a 70s disco song that has been in many different movies and documentaries. In 1979, two years after its release, it one the Grammy Award for song of the year. The song won 5 total awards.
The band's only survivor is Barry Gibb. Maurice and Robin Gibb died. This song will live on as one of the best songs in the USA.
Cardi B

Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar is mostly known by her stage name Cardi B. She grew up the Bronx's, New York where she started her fame after several of her posts went viral on Vine and Instagram. Cardi B is a rap artist and singer-songwriter; her latest songs were in 2018 “Money” and “I Like It”.
“Money” was released on October 23, 2018 by Atlantic Records, and “I Like It,” was released on May 25, 2018 also by Atlantic Records. One of her biggest hits was “Bodak Yellow,“ released on June 16 , 2017 by Atlantic Records. “Bodak Yellow” made Cardi B famous, which is crazy that only one song out of her 25 songs made her so famous. She is still making more songs which is amazing and she also has a daughter and she's making songs and taking care of her daughter.

Rex Orange County

Rex Orange County is not a band, but instead one person named Alexander O'Connor (better known by his stage name, Rex Orange County). He is 20 years old, and is an English recording artist and songwriter who grew up in the village of Grayshott near Haslemere.
Alexander sings in genres like indie pop, neo soul, alternative hip hop and blue-eyed soul. He started in 2016 playing guitar, piano, drums, bass and of course, singing. He sings with Tyler the creator, who is 27; they sang the song “Boredom’’ together.
One of Alexander's famous songs is ¨Appercote Princess¨ which is about his girlfriend, Thea who he started dating in October of 2015
If you like older music or slow music you would probably like Rex Orange County. I would recommend you listen to them when you can.
Rocky Soundtrack

The Rocky soundtrack is the music from the 1976 movie Rocky. The music is directed by Bill Conti. There are 13 songs on the album, totaling 43 minutes long. All of the songs are instrumental. The soundtrack´s most popular song is Gonna Fly Now since it is the original Rocky theme song.
Rocky is a fictional movie starring Sylvester Stallone as Rocky, Talia Shire as Adrian, and Burt Young as Paulie. Rocky was a poor boxer who got trained by his trainer Mickey (Burgess Meredith). He eventually takes on heavyweight champion Apollo Creed. He sadly loses but gets a rematch.
The soundtrack makes me feel good, and makes me feel like a champion. It’s like workout music.
Elvis Presley - Moody Blue (1977)

The song “Moody Blue” is a song released by Elvis Presley in 1977. He recorded the song in 1976 but it was released in July of 1977 on the album titled “Moody Blue.” The album had 10 songs on it.
The songs on the album were recorded in the Graceland Jam session in 1976. Elvis Presley sadly passed away 1 month after the album was released. It is 2:43 minutes long, and is a country rock song. Elvis did 24 albums and this was his last one. Elvis Presley recorded this song because he has roots from the south; it is a southern song. It was was one of Elvis Presley’s favorite songs that he recorded.
This song means a lot to me. Some of the best lyrics are “It’s like night and day and it’s so hard to say which one is you, oh Moody Blue.” I did this song because not only it was one of Elvis Presley’s last song recorded but it was one of his most popular.
Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish is a 17 year old singer-songwriter that grew up in L.A.
Her first song called “Ocean Eyes” came out in 2016 on soundcloud; her brother Finneas O'Connell helped her with writing and the background music.
Now, in 2019, she has come out with 18 songs and is still making new ones while she goes on tour around the U.S.
Billie comes to Portland on May 31, 2019 in the Moda Center. The show is at 12:00 am ,
I would recommend you listen to Billie Eilish songs when you have the time. I would also target people that are interested in slow indie pop.
Billie has been known for not having the most uplifting songs. She's also known for not smiling very often so when you find one, it's rare.
