Baseball has been around since 1869, that’s 150 years. My favorite baseball team is the New York Yankees. The top 3 baseball teams in the history of baseball are the New York Yankees, the Boston Red Sox, and the Chicago Cubs. I interviewed some people about who they think the top team is. The first kid is a 7th grader named Luka and he said “the the New York Yankees” Then I interviewed 7th grade Kaden and he said “the New York Yankees “ 2 people who got it with ease. I interviewed 3 more people and one person said “Baltimore Orioles“ the second person said “the New York Yankees“ and finally the 3rd person said “the New York Yankees“ Only 1 person got it wrong and that person is Mr. Jordan let's get a round of applause.
MLB Draft 2019 Top Three Picks

The MLB draft is always exiting. This year there were two players that battled for number one and the orioles went with Adly Rutchmen, catcher out of Oregon State. Not a lot of people were surprised to see Adly go number 1. He has college experience and is a switch hitting catcher that does not come around often. Bobby Witt jr. went number two to the Kansas City Royals. Bobby is easily too good for high school and is jumping straight into the major league. Bobby is a short stop so he has some earning to do to be the Royals starting shortstop. The white socks took a first basemen out of Cal so those were the top three picks of the draft, so good luck to the players next year.
Raptors vs Warriors game 3

The Raptors and the Warriors game 3 is going to be very good. The series is tied 1 to 1 and the Warriors have home court advantage. But if the Raptors can beat the best team in the league, they can beat anybody. But it will be tough against the home court crowd of Golden State. Game 3 was great, everyone thought with the warriors having home court advantage, they would win. But they thought wrong, the Raptors came out hot and stayed hot when the game was over. Warriors fans were shocked that they lost by 20 on there home court. I wasn't shocked. The Raptors were a great home team and there was no doubt that they were the better team in that game. But maybe Kevin Durant will come back then the Raptors should be ready.
Raptors vs Bucks

What a great series, Raptors in 6! A lot of people thought the Bucks were going to win, nope! The Raptors somehow pulled it out of the bag with Kawhai leading their team past giannis and his team to face the warriors. Luckily, they won’t be facing Kevin Durant in their first few games, but the warriors are still super good, even without KD.Alougth The raptors have Kawhi leonard and Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam, they are no match for the splash brothers(Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson), who have a lot of experience in the finals. This one being the Raptors first time in the finals, while this is the Warriors 11th time. It will be a close game.
Preview of Raptors vs Golden State

The NBA championship has always been amazing. This year we have a really experienced team and a not very experienced team. Golden State has the advantage because they have been here way more times then the Raptors in fact this is the first time that they have been to the finals ever. The Warriors have won and lost in the finals so they have the experience match up. But Toronto has a beast at small forward Kawhi Leonard. He is going to be the match up problem with Warriors, but Klay Thompson is the matchup problem with the Raptors. I think if Toronto can defend the three point line, they will win, but if they can't, then the Warriors will win.
NBA Playoffs 2019

The playoffs has been going on for a while and a lot has happened since then. The first game they played was Milwaukee vs Detroit and the final score was 4-0 so Milwaukee moved on to the second round. There are many others that lost or moved on, but were going to focus on the Golden State Warriors and the Portland Trail Blazers.
The first game that the Warriors played was against Los Angeles. The Warriors won that game and the final score was 4-2. The first game the Blazers played was against OKC and the Blazers won. The final score was 4-1 so the Blazers moved on to the second round. The third round was the Warriors played Houston and the Warriors won 4-2, so the Warriors moved on. The 3rd game the Blazers played Denver and the Blazers won 4-3, that was a close call for them.
This is the first time in years this has happened, but the Blazers went against the Warriors, and you might think what is so surprising about that? Well the Blazers have Seth Curry and the Warriors have Steph Curry and brothers haven't played each other in the playoffs in forever, but the Warriors won that game. In the finals, the Warriors are going against Toronto.
Manchester City wins premier league

Manchester City was crowned 2018-2019 champions of the Premier League. They were playing against Brighton. The Premier League is a soccer league with all the UK teams such as Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Arsenal. Manchester City has won the Premier League back to back years. 4th Premier League title in 8 years. 2nd highest points total in history. They had 14 straight wins to finish the season. After Glen Murray made the opening goal to scare Manchester City. Sergio Aguero ties the game 1-1. Then later Aymeric Laporte put them ahead 2-1. Riyad Mahrez made and impressive goal at the half to make it 3-1 and then Manchester eased the title with another goal.
NBA conference finals Prediction

The NBA playoffs is down to the conference finals for the western side and Portland is playing Golden State. Golden State has the home court advantage, but you never know with the NBA playoffs. We went out and asked people who would win and how many games it would take them. Most people said Portland but here it it is, 2 people said Portland would win in 4, 5 people said in 5, 9 people said in 6 and 8 people said in 7. For Golden State, no one said they would win in 4, 2 people said in 5, 1 said in 6, and 3 said in 7. Those are for the teams for the western conference.
For the Eastern conference, the Raptors are playing against the Bucks. We did the same thing, ask people to put down a mark who you think is going to win. For the Raptors, no one said they would win in 4, 1 said 5, 3 said 6, and 7 said 7. For the Bucks, 1 said 7, 8 said in 5, 3 said in 6, and 1 said 7. Those are the conference finals predictions.
Houston Rockets tie the series

Houston was down 2 to 0 in the series against the Golden State Warriors. They had a mentality and if they didn't tie the series then they were basically doomed. But they battled against Golden State and did not let them get back into the lead and won game 3.
But they didn't stop there, they were ready to play in game 4 and won game 4 sending the series back to Golden State and will for sure have a another home game back at Houston. Golden State has the super star lineup so it will be a challenge, but with the way james harden has been playing who knows. He is definitely carrying the rockets. The rockets Have been playing good so you never know.
Blazers vs Nuggets Game 2

Game 2 of the semi finals was amazing. The Blazers and Denver went at it. The Blazers had a good lead for about 3 quarters of the game, but then Denver wasn't ready to give up they went on a 19-9 run to get back in the lead. It looked like Denver was going to come back and win. Denver was just man handling the Blazers on the boards. They had 18 offensive rebounds in the 4th quarter. Every time there was a shot, Denver would get the rebound; but there was one problem, they could not hit a shot. The ball would just go right of the rim. Portland pulled out the game to make the series 1 all.
The History of the Trailblazers

The Portland Trailblazer are an american professional team based on Portland, Oregon.They play in the western conference. They were founded by Harry Glickman. The Moda Center was opened in 1960. They started their first season from 1970-1971. They been in the playoffs 35 times. In their best season, they won 63 games and only lost 19 games. The Blazers have had the number #1 pick four times. The Blazers had the #1 pick, and they chose Bill Walton, which is a great pick, and one of the best players to ever live.
Refs lose Rockets Game 1

The Rockets went into Golden State with a win mentality, though the refs were definitely favoring Golden State. When Harden went up for the three, Klay Thompson hit him on the hand it was in easy foul. But there was no call, Harden was mad but just shook it off. Then later in the game he got fouled again, but again, no call. Chris Paul got the ball but called him out of bounds. Chris Paul argued and then got thrown out of the game. The Warriors won it by 4, but the Rockets should of had a chance. It was clear the refs lost the Rockets a game.
NBA Finals Prediction

My NBA finals prediction is the Houston Rockets vs the Milwaukee Bucks in the finals. The reason I think the Rockets are going to make it to the finals is because James Harden has had a phenomenal year this season and carried his team to the playoffs, along with Chris Paul, Giannis Antetokounmpo, pronounced “Yonnis Adedo-Koonbo”, and Khris Middleton, who has really been stepping this season for the Bucks. The two MVP candidates James Harden and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Giannis Antetokounmpo is also one of the defense candidates of the year. I think the bucks are coming on top.
Blazers Vs Thunder Series

The western round playoff has been a little shaky, but not for the Blazers, they were up 3 to 1 in the series, heading back to Portland. OKC had a lot of work to do. They had to win on the road, but the Blazers, if they won game 5, they'd win the series and would play the winner of Denver and San Antonio series. Game 5 was going to be great! Who would win?
Game 5 was awesome. The Thunder were up 15 with 7 minutes to go and the Blazers came back. Dame had the ball with a tie game with 13 seconds left and stepped back and drained a buzzer beater -from 37 ft away- to win it. They won the series and now the Blazers will advance to to the second round.
Celtics vs Pacers

The Eastern Playoffs have been of to some good games. But let’s start with Boston vs Indiana. Boston wasted no time on the the first round and sweeped the Pacers. The Pacers were the 5th seed, but they lost their star player, Victor Oladipo. Without Victor, they just could not find a rhythm against the Celtics. Being down 3 to 0 is hard, but they just did not have the strength. Even if they won, they would still have to go into bottom down 2 games. Boston will have to play the Bucks next round so they better be ready. Boston was clearly the better team which made them go to the 2nd round.
Blazers vs Thunder Game 1
The Blazers and Thunder had a very exciting game 1 in Portland. Portland started to excite the crowd and hit 9 three pointers in the first half and was up by a lot at half time. But in the second half, things started to slip for the Blazers the Thunder’s best players, Russell Westbrook and Paul George, started to hit their shots and the Blazers lead got cut down, but the two stars for the Blazers, Damian Lillard and Cj Mccollum kept the Blazers in the lead. The Blazers kept momentum and had the lead.
With 17 seconds left, OKC made a layup and fouled Dame. Dame made both free throws and OKC made a three after that. So with 5 seconds left, they fouled Dame and Dame went to the foul line hit both free throws and won game 1 for the Blazers. Portland is up 1 to nothing in the series.
Nba Playoff

This years playoff picture looks like this, but if the Trailblazers win, they will go up against OKC.Thunder is in the first round of the playoffs, but no matter what, the Trailblazers will have to play 2 very good teams.
But let’s talk about another team. On April 10, the OKC Thunder beat the Milwaukee Bucks. With Paul George out, we all thought the Thunder was going to get destroyed. But Dennis Schroder rose up and made 32 points including 8 threes.
Now let’s talk about the Portland Trailblazers, our home team, who played against the Sacramento Kings and only played the same six players the whole game who were all rookies. But at one point, are home team was down by 28 and ended up winning the game 131 to 136 with Anfernee Simons scoring 37 points to bring the Trailblazers to the 136 131 win against the Sacramento Kings.
Seattle Mariners

The Seattle Mariners are on a rampage. They have hit a homerun every game they have played and they are 10 and 2. Seattle is on a road trip currently and who knows how long this will last. If the Mariners keep this up, they will probably be the best team in baseball, but there is 162 games so you never know what will happen this season. Someone could get hurt, they could get traded, and the player they got wasn’t good, but they could be good.
Seattle is also the number one team in the MLB right now so they just can’t lose right now. They have only lost 2 games to start the season and are beating teams badly. Look out, here comes the Seattle Mariners.
Jusuf Nurkic Injury

Jusuf Nurkic suffered a really bad injury on his leg. He was having a career high and was keeping the Blazers ahead. Then, Damian Lillard shot the ball and missed Jusuf came up to try to get the rebound and his leg went sideways and the bone came out. The whole crowd was shocked and sad. They didn't know what happened to Jusuf. What they saw was Jusuf on the floor and in pain. The medical team went and carried Jusuf off the court. Jusuf was out for the season obviously. All the blazers fans are in disbelief. I hope he gets better and has a better season next year.
Le’veon Bell To The Jets

Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back, Le’veon Bell, plans to sign a 4 year, 52.5 million dollar contract to the Jets. Bell, who shocked the NFL by sitting out the 2018 NFL season. After gaining nearly 2,000 yards in 2017. Le'veon Bell's average salary each year is about 13.3 million, which would rank second behind Todd Gurley's 14.37 million average with the Rams. I expect Bell to be a upgrade to the Jets offense, and might lead them to the playoffs with the addition of Sam Darnold, and their safety, Jamal Adams. I think they will be a very good team.
Raptors vs Rockets

On March 5th, 2019, the Rockets played the Raptors in Toronto. Toronto was number 2 in the Eastern Conference at home, so they were favored. Houston was 5th in the Western Conference and on the road so they were the underdogs. But the Rockets were on a 5 game winning streak and they wanted to keep the streak going. And with James Harden on the Rockets, anything could happen. And of course, James Harden scored 35 points in that game. Kawhi Leonard, the Raptor’s star player, only scored 26 points. The Raptors fell down early which gave the Rockets some room to work with. The Raptors just could not pull their offense together and only scored 95 points. The Rockets ended up winning 107 to 95 and extended their winning streak to 6 games and the Raptors fell to a 1 game losing streak. And the Raptors rally needed that win to catch the number one seed in the East, the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Rivalry Continues Between OKC and Portland

Thursday, March 8th, the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Portland Trail Blazers battled for third place in the Western Conference. But OKC came on top of Portland. Damian Lillard scored 51 points, but they couldn't stop the dynamic duo of Russell Westbrook and Paul George. Together they scored 69 points. The game went into overtime. Thunder also had 6 steals. The playoff push for the Portland Trail Blazers continues.
Antonio Brown to Raiders

On March 10th, star NFL player Antonio Brown left the Pittsburgh Steelers to join the Raiders.
The Raiders rebuild is looking good now because now the Raiders have the 4th pick and 2 other first round picks in the draft, because of the trades to the Cowboys and the Bears. Antonio came because he was greedy of money the contract that the Raiders gave him was 34 million dollars for four years and there might be a better deal of 54 million dollars for 6 years and that might get the Raiders into a super bowl winning team.
The Raiders gave the Steelers 3rd and 5th round picks for a Antonio Brown. Now that the Steelers got rid of Antonio Brown, what will they do? Get rid of Le’veon Bell and rebuild the team, or get Le'veon Bell back and rebuild from there. The Raiders are happy. Look out here come the Raiders!
Bryce Harper to the Phillies

Multiple sources told MLB.com on Thursday that Harper and the Phillies agreed to a 13 year, 325 million dollar contract that topped Manny Machado with a 10 year contract for 300 million dollar contract with the Padres. Bryce Harper is a great addition to the Phillies. I expect Bryce Harper to be a strong hitter at the plate for the Phillies. He will probably lead Phillies to the playoffs.
