Before the feedback form is submitted, we advise our interviewers to check the form to avoid receiving a "pending correction." Here are a few tips to prevent such situations from arising.
Pending correction is the status seen when the feedback submitted requires correction. The quality team identifies the areas that need attention and informs the expert to make the necessary amendments.
First, click on the rating description button to see the criteria.
Then answer these questions.
What was the candidate's approach to finding the solution?
Did the candidate need hints to come up with a solution?
Why did I deduct points?
What was not included in the candidate's answer?
or
Why did I give the candidate a high rating and what made the answer exceptional? (8 or above)
It means the section level/ overall feedback is missing the highlighted topics from the interview flow.
The image on the right is an example of notes made during an actual interview.
In some interview flows, the clients have specific requirements for which they provide a fixed set of questions or problem statements.
These questions, if mentioned in the interview flow, are mandatory. If they are not covered, the interview is considered invalid and has to be conducted again.
Check the interview flow well before the interview starts
Always check for fixed questions or sample questions along with links
Ensure all the fixed questions are asked during the interview (the feedback must include them.)
They can be accessed during the interview (as shown in the image on the left). A new tab with the mandatory questions will open.
The quickest way to avoid language mistakes is by using the autosuggestions and Grammarly provided.
Autosuggestions are shown in the image on the left.
Default questions are questions that are already present in the system.
These are questions that the clients need answers to. The pending correction status is given when such questions have been deleted. Hence, it is advised that you do not delete such questions.
(If you have already been covered earlier in the interview and it appears again as a default question later, then you can delete it.)
For the Machine-round all default questions must be covered.
NO QUESTION SHOULD BE DELETED FOR MACHINE ROUNDS.
