Ava Wesner is a sophomore at Badin, who is a caring and fun girl to be around. Wesner is learning how to play bass guitar and likes to sing in her free time. Whether she is going on hikes or going to meet serve and grow, Wesner is always trying to do something.
“It's hard to pick a favorite because we do so much different stuff, but I do always enjoy working with children,” Wesner said.
Wesner loves to help people, so she joined, met, served and grew. Wesner loves being a part of it. She doesn’t have a specific favorite type of service at the moment but she enjoys working with kids. Wesner likes playing and getting the chance to hang out with all the kids she helps. However service isn’t the only thing she likes to do in her free time.
“I like hiking, I enjoy the views they are so calming,” Wesner said.
Wesner became interested in hiking after going on one with her family. Wesner also has gone on a 9 mile hike with her family, however she does like hiking on her own. There is a wetlands park around her house where she goes to get some time by herself.
“But now my favorite is hiking by myself to get a break,” Wesner said.
Ava is definitely an interesting girl, who has a big heart and adventurous spirit.
