Gracie Combs is a junior at Badin and is a sweet and optimistic girl. She is the oldest of five and has five pets, a full house!
Being the oldest comes with a bunch of responsibilities and challenges, but Gracie Combs can overcome it all.
Being the oldest in the family is never easy, especially with a full house. Normally siblings wouldn’t get along so easy, but there is a strong bond between them all.
“I am really close with each of my three siblings who are with me,” Combs said.
A strong bond between a family is always a beautiful sight for everyone to see! The love between a family is something that will live on forever. Sadly, with every family comes a tragedy. When Gracie was in elementary school, her younger brother passed away.
“My brother's name was Dale, he passed away due to a miscarriage. It was very hard on my family, because it was such a surprise,” Combs said.
Though times can be sad, things always get better. We all have our hobbies and we all have things we want to be. For Gracie, she wants to be a surgeon.
“My favorite class is physio,” Combs said.
Surgeons are able to adapt and overcome each problem that they encounter, and surely Gracie can do it. She can do it all while keeping a big heart.
“I always like making people feel better,” Combs said.
