On various dates throughout May, the sophomore class will be going on retreats. The sophomore class has not gone on a retreat before, so emotions are everywhere.
Due to covid, retreats were canceled, but sophomores participated in a virtual retreat. Sophomore Eva Groh was one of them.
“We had a virtual retreat last year and we also got a gift basket to go along with it,” Groh said.
The retreat is being led by juniors and seniors at Badin. Some people find it strange to have people they know led them, and some do not really care.
“I don't know many juniors or seniors, so I guess it's ok,” Groh said.
Feelings are high, and people do not know how to feel about the retreat. Whether it will be successful with covid has a lot of people scared.
“The whole retreat has me anxious.”
