Begin to use internet services within his/her own creations to share and transfer data to a third party
Recognise some of the broader uses of the internet beyond simple web browsing. They should identify different forms of online communication eg email, instant messaging, video chat and voice chat and how these can aid collaboration.
Pupils can also recognise ways in which people can share and access files online eg. online (cloud) storage, instant file sharing and web based office applications
WORKING TOWARDS - Pupils know they can communicate via email and can share files and email attachments.
MET - Pupils know they can communicate on the internet in different ways, many of which enable files to be shared as attachments.
FURTHER PROGRESSION - Pupils can explain a range of effective online communication methods. They understand how 'cloud' storage means their files can easily be shared since they're stored centrally.
