Create and edit simple documents. Pupils should know how to use basic text editing tools eg. change font, size and colour, or to style text as bold and italics.

WORKING TOWARDS - Pupils can change the size and colour of text in a document. They can explain and identify the buttons that perform these functions in a range of applications.
MET - Pupils can change the font size and colour of a document. They can also select individual words and format them as bold or italics.
FURTHER PROGRESSION - Pupils can select individual words, sentences or paragraphs and format them as bold, italics or underlined. Children can identify the buttons that perform these functions in a range of applications.
