Digital Leaders are a group of Year 5 & 6 pupils who love everything about technology. They are keen to learn new things and help others with their computer problems.
The children learn lots of new skills and help with any online safety issues. Two of our Year 6 leaders are ambassadors and have been participating in online events and doing activities linked to online safety working alongside other schools and professionals including the NSPCC.
The Digital Leaders have done a series of online badges to gain a Digital Passport.
Our Digital Leaders create Online Safety posters for use around the school and on our social media platforms.
Some of our Digital Leaders have taken a series of badges using the Program Scratch.
Our Digital Leaders love to test out new apps and programs.
Ruben has completed a Microsoft MakeCode challenge.
The digital leaders not only enjoy playing games but also making them. They are currently making a wide range of games to add to a website for other children to play.
Some of our Year 5 Digital Leaders asked whether they could make a monthly online newspaper for children to read.
Our Digital Leaders have created a magazine with reports, news, puzzles and fun facts.
