Don’t forget to check in on the Mission Team Experience Canvas Course! This is your space for key updates, helpful resources, and guidance to make the most of your MT Experience. Be sure to log in regularly so you don’t miss important announcements, assignments, and opportunities to connect.
This is a MANDATORY event for all NGSC students in Cohorts 12, 11, 10, T10, as well as Y4 students participating on the Co-generational Mission Team.
Failure to attend the MT Kickoff will impact your NGSC program status and scholarship as outlined on our Program Status and Appeals page.
Year 4 students in C9 and T7 are not required to attend UNLESS you are an NGSC Student Leader or if you are a member of the Co-Generational Mission Team. If you an NGSC Student Leader or if you are a member of the Co-Generational Mission Team, the MT Kickoff is a MANDATORY event for you to attend. Review the NGSC Experience Map for clarification of requirements by program year.
NGSC Mandatory Event Absence Policy:
There are certain experiences throughout the year that are critical to the effectiveness of the program and your leadership development within it. As a student, you have the responsibility and obligation to make choices and balance your priorities; however, for NGSC required events, we do not offer excused absences (with the exception of ASU classes and religious holidays). Should you miss an event, your absence or failure to participate will be documented, and after each semester, program staff will evaluate your participation as a member of NGSC. Failure to comply with participation standards of the program will impact your program status resulting in a warning, probation, or removal from the program, including a possible reduction or loss of your PSA Scholarship.
