NGSC Mission Teams (MT) are student-led groups, based on their interest in deepening their knowledge about a particular social issue.
Mission Teams engage in student-led exploration, research, and solutions with community partners, university affiliates, and the public.
Consistent Mission Team engagement is an important element of a student's NGSC experience. Thus, "active Mission Team engagement" is expected of all students to remain in good standing within the NGSC. To meet this requirement, all NGSC students must engage in a minimum of four separate (4) engagements with their Mission Team by the activities log deadline EACH semester. This includes Mission Team Leaders! You're doing a lot for the good of the Mission Team, and your efforts need to be accounted for as well.
*The Mission Team Leader will verify and log all team member engagements before the deadline.
The Mission Team log deadlines:
Fall: November 30th
Spring: March 30th
*If you have questions about acceptable Mission Team engagement activities, contact your Mission Team Leader, Chief of Staff, or NGSC staff.
