Learning German at Parkview.mp46th Grade Beginning German
Deutsch macht Spass! German is fun! Students are introduced to German as it is written and spoken by young people in Germany today. Special projects are integrated with informal conversation. Students will learn to talk about themselves, their friends and family. They will learn to converse, read and write in common, informal situations. The culture of German-speaking countries will also be introduced, especially the interests and activities of German-speaking students.
7th Grade German
Ein Austauschschüler in Deutschland. We will be using the themes of an exchange student in Germany to further strengthen students reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Some topics this year include school, family, going shopping, and scheduling events. Cultural connections and comparisons will be incorporated throughout the year.
8th Grade German
Deutschland ist schön. This course is the culminating class at Parkview. It is designed to prepare students for a successful transition to the third level of German at Ashwaubenon High School. Students will actively engage in conversations surrounding the topics of visiting a German city, chores and items around your house, books, movies and music, discussing past vacations and celebrations.
