7th Grade Social Studies

In 7th  grade Social Studies students study world history using a curriculum called the World History Project. Throughout the year we will trace the story of humankind, going back thousands, millions, even billions of years into the past. Units of study include: Early Humans; Cities, States and Empires; Regional Webs; The First Global Age; The Long 19th Century; The Great Convergence and Divergence. Students will leave seventh grade with a broad conceptual understanding of the human story and how human communities have grown, adapted, and thrived.
