S2 English
In S2 English pupils are taught in mixed ability classes and continue to make progress by following BGE outcomes and experiences in Reading, Writing, Listening and Talking. Pupils visit the library once per fortnight during their Literacy period.
In class, pupils are given the opportunity to explore a variety of genres of texts including poetry, prose, drama and media. Bedrock, vocabulary homework is given weekly as part of the Literacy course. English homework is generally completed via Teams and issued every fortnight.
