Front Office Grade Posting Tips
Run Grades Report Missing Grades Report until all missing scores have been reconciled.
Verify that all students have a score and conduct grade posted for each section, if applicable.
Ensure that the grading window is closed before running report cards and posting grades to transcript.
All classroom teachers must finalize grades prior to posting to report card or transcript by verifying and signing their individual grades report for each course/section assigned.
Keep signed copies as verification that teachers reported grades are correct.
The Grades Report will print the students' posted grades based on the chosen criteria. This report is used to determine which teachers have not posted grades, which students have missing grades or as a grade verification report for teacher sign-off.
NOTE: To avoid changes in the grade book, please ensure that the grading window has closed then follow the steps below:
Select your Report Criteria
1. Select All, the specific Grade Level(s) or an Ad Hoc Filter
2. Select the appropriate Grading Term to include on the report.
3. Select All or the desired Teachers to include on the report
4. Select Group By teacher for teacher grade verification
5. Select the appropriate Standard/Grading Tasks to include in the report according to the reporting period.
· Mid Term grading tasks
¨ MS/HS - Mid-Semester, Mid-Sem Conduct, Mid-Quarter, Mid-Conduct, Progress
¨ ES – IB_, Mid-Semester, Mid-Quarter, Semester, 9-Week, 18-Week, 27-Week, Work Habits/Conduct,
· End of Term/Year grading tasks
¨ MS/HS - Quarter, Semester, Conduct, EOCT Test, EOCT CRS FINAL
¨ ES – IB_, Quarter, Semester, Trimester, Conduct, FINAL, Work Habits/Conduct
6. Select one of the following options:
· All Grades/Scores – displays all posted scores given for the selected grading task
· Missing Grades/Scores – displays only scores that are missing
· By Grade/Scores – displays selected scores to include on the report using checkboxes.
7. Select Generate Report.
The following steps will allow school administrators the ability to view a teacher’s individual grade book by course and section.
1. Search and Select the Course Number.
2. Select the Sections tab.
3. Select blue Grade Book link for the appropriate teacher, term, and period.
4. Selected Grade Book will display current categories, assignments and scores.
