You will be creating a resume that you hopefully can continue to update throughout your college career. I know you may have a resume that you have used before, but I would like you to use the template below and create a new resume. This will ensure you include the right information in a easy to read format. We will talk about the pros and cons of different types of resumes in class.
As for content, I would like for you to use the tips we discuss in class and the feedback you got from your peers to create the strongest resume that you can. Once you have a final copy, you will upload your new resume. The PowerPoint with the resume tips is on our ASULearn main page for reference. You can also see the feedback rubric I will be using to review your resume. I expect the very best resume you can produce.
Resume Draft:
Step 1: Open the resume template (click here) and either download or make a copy to be able to edit it. The second page has some different header options you can copy and paste on the first page. Make sure to delete the second page before turning it in.
Step 2: Open my PDF presentation and update your resume based on what we talked about in class.
Step 3: Submit the draft of your resume to ASULearn. You will complete the peer review in class.
Resume Final:
Step 1: Update your resume based on the feedback you received from your peer.
Step 2: Open up the rubric and double check you meet all the criteria I am looking for. I am expecting your very best resume.
