College is an unique time in your life that you have access to so many wonderful resources. Sometimes it can be overwhelming to go check out a new resource, know what resources are even out there, or attend an event by yourself. By doing this assignment, my hope is that you are able to take that leap and become more connected to our campus. Finding your place and people on campus is such an important part of your college journey so I hope this assignment can also hopefully help you make those connections.
Step 1:
Review the list of optional activities and pick one you would like to try. You will do this twice this semester & you must try two different activities. They can come from the same area, but I encourage you to try different areas as well.

Attend activity you picked
Step 3:
Write a full page (MLA,double spaced) reflection or create a minute long reflection video. Do not just answer these questions, write it in paragraph form or talk about in depth sharing these details.
Provide the date of which you attended
Describe in detail what you did
Discuss why you picked this activity/event, etc.
Discuss what you gained from the experience and how it will influence your college experience at the moment…or in the future
AI Use is optional on this assignment. If you plan to utilize it, please read my guidelines for this specific assignment below!
Appropriate Use- Remember, if you use AI, you must write in the submission box what platform you used and how you used it:
This is a reflective response is on an experience unique to you, therefore AI can only be utilized for spelling, grammar, and paragraph structure support.
You are free to use spell check, grammar check, and synonym identification tools (e.g., Grammarly, and MS Word).
You are free to use app recommendations when it comes to rephrasing sentences or reorganizing paragraphs you have drafted yourself.
You are free to use app recommendations when it comes to tweaking outlines you have drafted yourself.
