CSS welcomes parents and community members' involvement at schools and in school activities. Procedure 498: Volunteers in Schools (Pdf) and Procedure 498 Form 2: Volunteer Information (Pdf) outline the responsibilities and expectations of a volunteer.

The principal is responsible for determining the volunteering needs for the school and overseeing the selection process.  Volunteers will be asked to provide references, and are also required to provide an acceptable criminal background check before being approved.
