Community Involvement Hours

Secondary school students are required to complete 40 hours of community involvement throughout their high school years to earn a secondary school diploma. Students may begin to accumulate community involvement hours beginning in July of their Grade 9 year. We strongly reccomend that students complete their mandatory hours prior to their Gr.12 year.

If you have, or your student has, completed all or part of the community involvement requirement, please submit the documentation to our Guidance Office as soon as possible. Submitting hours in stages helps us verify and record them promptly.  Please avoid waiting for one large submission at the very end of high school. Specifically for Gr.12 students, last-minute verification may impact graduation eligibility.
