Cell Phones

By responsibly using our cell phones, we can ensure that we maintain a positive learning atmosphere, minimize disruptions, and uphold the values of consideration for our peers and dedication to our education.

Teachers will discuss the expectations for cell phone use in their individual classrooms depending on the subject and how the use of cell phones can enhance their learning by using it as a tool. 

We encourage parents/guardians to avoid contacting students during class time to alleviate distractions and maintain focus on the lesson taking place in the classroom. If there is an emergency situation and parents/guardians need to speak to their student right away, we recommend contacting the main office (613-962-9233 ext. 0) and the student will be contacted in the classroom and asked to come to the office for a phone call.
