Message from Damian Lee, Headteacher
This is an exciting time to join New Rickstones Academy. We have built on the success of our Good OFSTED rating in 2018 and have seen great improvements in the quality of teaching and learning throughout all areas of the school. This was confirmed in 2019 by our best ever results with English and Maths securing 76% of their students a grade 4 or above, making us one of the most improved schools in the country.
Over the last 4 years the academy has seen a huge increase in student numbers with number of students on roll more than doubling. Staff numbers have also increased and the academy is proud to boast high staff retention rates. Staff development is a priority with an extensive and hugely successful CPD (Continuing Professional Development) program to further develop our excellent staff.
If you are considering a role at New Rickstones Academy I would strongly encourage you to arrange a visit to come and see the academy for yourself. It really is a great place to work!
