Course Description:

This is an introductory French course designed for students that have had no prior experience with French. Students will demonstrate skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking French throughout the year as defined by the core and language syllabi. Students will reach a good foundation in the present tense, using vocabulary from all aspects of everyday living situations. Basic skills, dialogues and drills are emphasized. In addition, students will research and complete projects on the culture and history of the French-speaking people. (Francophonie)
