Works of the Renaissance Notes: students will take Outline-style notes on the characteristics and development of Renaissance art. They will record key artists, writers, and inventors who revolutionized the culture of the period. Students will also identify key techniques, markers, and themes within Renaissance art.
Project Imagine - "Life in Renaissance Italy": accessing the textbook, students will use the "Project Imagine" software in order to explore the lives of four historical characters in Renaissance Italy. Students will complete the worksheet and answer the questions using the materials from the interactive activity.

Renaissance Intro Notes: Students will take brief notes utilizing the Outline note format detailing the key concepts and terms of the Renaissance, as well as how this exchange of ideas was able to occur. Students will be able to identify that trade was a key catalyst of the Renaissance, as well as what major ideas emerged out of Renaissance thinking.
Map of Renaissance Italy & Reflection Q’s: before diving further into the art and culture of Renaissance Italy, it is important to recognize how the political and physical geography contributed to the transfer of these ideas. Students will complete a map of Renaissance Italy, detailing key city states, water routes, and major trade routes. They will use the map to answer reflection questions.
