Welcome to Explorers 3! 

Helo, Miss Lester ydw i. 

I am Explorers 3 Class teacher. I have worked in Abercanaid Community School for four years. It has been a pleasure to teach learners and support families over the years.

I am Science and Technolgy lead, digital champion and RRSA lead. 

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to go sightseeing and on relaxing holidays. I enjoy running and staying active.

I am Explorers 3 Learning support assistant (LSA). 

I love to spend time with my children, going on day trips, our favorite place is always the seaside and we like to stop for an icecream. 

I enjoy cooking, music and being with friends.

General Information

Reading days

Your child has been allocated a reading day. Please make sure you send your child’s reading book and reading record into school on this day. 


Daily essentials

Please make sure your child has a water bottle every day. A piece of fruit can be sent in every day with your child for them to eat during their morning break. 

PE days

Your child will need a PE kit (shorts, t-shirt and trainers) on a Wednesday and Thursday.  

Homework

Homework will be sent to parents email address' every Friday. Each week homework will have a different focus, we will be focsuing on elements of literacy, numeracy, wellbeing and creative work.
