P6/7A (Rm 11) 2026-27

We will focus on our Reading skills and strategies such as inference through our Reflective Reading and for our writing we will look at Recount Writing using the Cypic approach.

This Term P6/7A will be learning about 2D shape and 3D properties as well as Patterns & Relationships.

We will also be taking part in daily Big Maths CLIC sessions

We will explore positive relationships, emotional wellbeing, healthy lifestyles, and strategies to help them stay safe, happy, and secure. We will also have regular PE sessions on a Monday and our RADS sessions will take place on a Thursday.

We will explore Earth and space, investigating the solar system and space exploration through a range of practical, hands-on activities and investigations.

We are starting the term off with our 'Caring Citizens' Topic followed by 'Around the World', where we will choose a continent and country to focus on.
