THOMAS KRAJCI MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The New York State Deputies Association, Inc. is offering a $500 scholarship to any graduating high school senior is pursuing a degree in a law enforcement related field and who also resides in Onondaga County. DEPUTY GLENN SEARLES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The New York State Deputies Association, Inc. is offering a $500 scholarship to any graduating high school senior who is pursuing a degree in a law enforcement related field. ONONDAGA COUNTY FARM BUREAU SCHOLARSHIP
Onondaga county high school seniors who are graduating and interested in pursuing a career in agriculture can apply for Onondaga County Farm Bureau Scholarship. Eligible students can use the financial award for college or advanced training in the skilled trades. There will be two winners of $1,000 each towards their future education.

Omega Psi Phi fraternity, Incorporated was founded in 1911 at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Omega was the first black fraternity to be founded on the campus of a Historically Black College or University (HBCU). Today with over 100,000 members, Omega Men are very committed to their cardinal principles: MANHOOD, SCHOLARSHIIP, PERSEVERANCE, and UPLIFT. As a result of their commitment, many Omega Men have gone on to make significant contributions toward the development of our society.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicant must be a male student of color in their senior year attending high school in Onondaga County.
Applicant must be accepted as a full-time student to an accredited university or college and provide a copy of acceptance letter.
Applicant must have attained a minimum academic average of 80 / “B”
Applicant must submit three (3) letters of recommendation providing character reference, academic excellence, and political or community participation.
Applicant must provide an essay consisting of a minimum of 500 words and addressing one of the following subjects:
Why I should receive the Dennis Dowdell Scholarship Award.
How I expect higher education to change my life.
What I expect to contribute to society after I attain a college education.
Future goals and aspirations.
Applicant must attend an interview with the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated, Chi Pi Chapter (Dressed appropriately).

JIM'S TEAM 4 DIABETES FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is for any senior class students at Westhill High School that may have been diagnosed with Type One Diabetes.
In January of 2022, Jim Loria created the JIM'S TEAM 4 DIABETES FOUNDATION, a non-profit organization that provides scholarships for Type 1 Diabetes students all throughout the USA. The Scholarships are valued at $500 each to help cover medical supplies for the student when they first begin their college studies.

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS WITH EPILEPSY
This scholarship is for high school seniors and current college students who have epilepsy and who live or attend a higher education institution in New York State. A maximum of three winners will be chosen.
For 40 years, Empowering People's Independence Epilepsy Services have been training staff, students, and organizations that are public facing. Among many services including Epilepsy Awareness, Recognition, and First Aid; they also have the only Camp for kids with epilepsy, support groups, Art Therapy classes, and 1:1 case management. In conjunction with Upstate Hospital they have recently started a Newly Diagnosed program. Every year Western and Central New York students have an opportunity to apply for College Scholarships for Students with Epilepsy. See application below!
