OCM BOCES Career and Technical Education
OCM BOCES outlines these two-year program offerings as being designed to provide students with a broad-spectrum of job specific skills using the most current business and industry technologies. These skills prepare students for the workforce and post-secondary study. Students enrolled in CTE programs may also earn high school core academic credit and college-level credit.

Welding Technology
Morning OCM BOCES CTE programs are typically designed for seniors attending the second year of their two-year program. Seniors attending the morning session return to Westhill High School for 7th period lunch, and 8/9, 10th and 11th period courses.
Afternoon OCM BOCES are typically designed for juniors attending the first year of their two-year program. Juniors attending the afternoon session will attend periods 1-4 and 5th period lunch at Westhill High School prior to departing for the OCM BOCES Campus.
These one-year programs are offered in the morning and designed for seniors to provide an in-depth overview of their chosen professional field. New Vision Programs include:
New Vision Criminal Justice Program (located in the Civic Center)
New Vision Engineering Professions Program (located at Lockheed Martin)
New Vision Medical Professions Program (located across the street from Thompson Rd. BOCES)
New Vision application requirements include: Completed student application and two letter of recommendation.
