OCM BOCES Summer School for grades 9-12 will be held at West Genesee Intermediate School this year.

Summer School courses are available to those who have failed a course, and are not available for first time credit.
Course Registration Deadline: Monday, June 29, 2026
Cost to student: None
Non-Regents courses are 12 days in length.
Regents courses are 16 days in length.
A specific semester cannot be requested.
Summer School uses Google Classroom.
Semester One:
Thursday, July 9, 2026 to Friday, July 24, 2026
Please Note: Most Non-Regents classes will be held semester one.
Semester Two:
Monday, July 27, 2026 to Monday, August 17, 2026
Please Note: Most Regents classes will be held semester two.

Please Note: Westhill sends OCM BOCES a photo ID for each WHS student registered to take a Regents Exam to assist with admission.

All students are expected to attend every day.
Students who miss more than 3 days of any one course may be dismissed from summer school.
Occasionally, extenuating circumstances may arise, and efforts will be made to accommodate students in those rare situations.
Vacations, sports, and work obligations are not valid reasons to miss classes. Please plan accordingly.

Each of these meetings will give you the opportunity to get an overview of the Regional Summer School (RSS) Program and the expectations for your child(ren). They will review RSS courses, attendance and grading policies, introduce site administrators, and answer any questions you may have.

Summer School Eligibility
To qualify for enrollment in the OCM BOCES Regional Summer School, students in grades 9-11 must meet the following requirements at the conclusion of the school year:
Final course average no lower that 55%
Must pass the course for at least one marking period during the school year
Minimum course attendance of 60% (no more than 72 or 36 absences for full or half year courses respectively)
