Course Changes: Students requesting a schedule change must use the online schedule change request form at the high school website:

https://sites.google.com/a/washington.k12.ia.us/washingtonhighschool/.

We want to accommodate everyone and get every student the very best schedule for them. Counselors will make year long schedules with students prior to or during Term 1. Schedule changes after Term 1 will only be made if a student fails a course, or if a student changes their career plan. To request a schedule change for failing a course or changing a career, students can complete the Schedule Change Request Form. That form will be available in the counseling office.

Registration Procedure: Each student must meet with the counselors to complete registration. Moreover, students are encouraged to discuss their schedules with their parents.

Procedure for Transfer Credits: Students transferring to Washington High are expected to schedule classes for graduation requirements of our school. Credit will be transferred for all passing courses at previous accredited schools attended. Future schedules will be set up assuming the student will graduate from WHS.
