COMPUTER USE VIOLATION
If a student violates the Appropriate Use Guidelines, the following will occur:
1. Any student found in violation of the appropriate use guidelines by the system administrators will lose his/her computer take home privilege for three weeks for the first infraction. A letter will be sent to the student's parents/guardian informing of them of the infraction. The student's computer will be reissued after (a) the three weeks has expired and (b) the parent or guardian has signed a new Acceptable Use Policy.
2. A second infraction will result in the loss of the student's computer take home privileges for a nine week period. A letter will be sent to the student's parent/ guardian informing them of the infraction. The student's computer will be reissued after (a) the nine weeks has expired and (b) the parent or guardian has signed a new Acceptable Use Policy. The parent or guardian will also meet with the principal or dean of students.
