Open the Cisco Jabber application.
Enter your work email firstname.lastname@usuhs.edu
contractors will enter firstname.lastname.ctr@usuhs.edu
Click Continue
4. The second screen will ask for your username and Password (This will be your SSO credentials).
5. Click Login.
Set Jabber to Launch Automatically
Have Jabber start automatically when your computer starts.
To set Jabber to start when your computer starts:
Windows: Click the gear menu and choose Settings
Mac: Select Jabber > Options
Select General and check Start Cisco Jabber when my computer starts to automatically launch Jabber when your computer starts.
Click OK.
Dock Jabber
For a more compact view, Jabber can be Docked at the top-center of your monitor. The Dock icon can be moved by clicking and holding your mouse to reposition.
To use Jabber in Docked mode, hover your mouse over the bar to expand the options and click the desired button.
To relocate the doc position, Click the Menu (gear) icon>View>Position docked Window.
To enable the Docked mode, click the red X button at the top of the Jabber window. To disable or undock, click the Jabber icon.
Change Audio Settings
Jabber does not remember your headphone device. You will need to select your audio options at every login instance.
