New Driver and Motor

The spectrum controller Austin S-600 should have the settings set to what is shown in the two images below. Const. Vel is set to -. MCS. Period is set to 320. MPX is set to ON. STAB is set to 0. STAB Loop is set to closed. The upper left knob in figure 2 is set to REF. Vel/Data Ratio is set to 1/0. The lower left knob in figure 2 is set to Ext. Fidelity is set to 1.0(max). Offset Ratio is set to 0.

The motor, shown in figure 3 below, should have the Drive connected to Drive on the back panel of the spectrum controller and the Velocity connected to Velocity on the back panel of the spectrum controller. The back panel of the spectrum controller is shown below in figures 4 and 5. The function generator is connected to EXT on the back panel of the spectrum controller and should be set to be a triangle wave of 14 Hz with an positive DC offset such that the signal is always positive. The amplitude of the function generator is proportional to the velocity.
