It's the last week to collect donations!
Walkathon donations are due THURSDAY October 2. Please return the envelope even if donations were collected online. There is a spot on the back to track donations so PTO knows which prizes to award your child.
Walkathon is on Friday, October 3 at the TKHS stadium. Parents are welcome to join us to walk with their child. 4th graders will walk from 2:30-3:00pm and then they may be signed out from the track to leave with their parents.

Thank you to everyone who has already contributed supplies to our classroom! I could still use some more of the following items:
Post It notes- regular 3x3 name brand please! We use these to answer our "Question of the Day" and they need to stick to the wall. Other brands always fall off.
Pencil top erasers - Just basic ones like these You can often find them at the dollar store.
We reviewed addition & subtraction with numbers through the hundred thousands place. We're also exploring real-life word problems to understand what addition and subtraction mean in the real world.
Click here to see what we're learning in Chapter 2: Addition & Subtraction, along with ways you can support your child at home.
Here's what we learned this week:
Essential Question: How do your actions affect others?
Reading Strategy: Make Predictions
Reading Skills: Plot, Conflict, Author's Claim
Vocabulary Skill: Idioms
We finished our Earth Science unit and solved our mystery! Have your child share their step by step drawing of what happened at Ashfall Fossil beds and explain all that they've learned about Earth Science.
