Urgent need: Expo Markers! We ran completely out of extra Expo Markers today. They seem to be disappearing like crazy in our classroom. If you are able to donate a few extra Expo markers I would greatly appreciate it!

We did a special "Halloween" argumentative essay. The students needed to convince Ms. Cheves what she should be for Halloween. You may have gotten to see them displayed in the hallway if you came in for the Halloween Party.
This week students learned how sound can be used to send messages...like a secret code! With a partner, they deveoped a sound code using 2 signals. Then they used their code to send a secret message. This lesson introduced students to codes, such as binary code used in computer science!
