I'm a little behind in posting these pictures, so I'll catch up on our previous 2 star students...Henley and Jackson!
Our class Halloween Party is Friday, Oct. 31 from 1:30-2:30 pm.
Due to classroom space, please limit 1-2 guests per student (adults only, please - no siblings or children). To assist in the check-in process and to get a classroom count, it is important that you RSVP with the names of the people who will be attending this event. Click here to RSVP for our class party!
I already have the games/activities planned for the party. Kids will essentially be building their own goodie bag as they compete in the various games. At each game, they will earn candy or a small prize. By the end, they'll have a full goodie bag of treats!
I need donations of empty goodie bags, candy, small novelty prizes (think sticky hands, eye ball bouncy balls, that kind of thing). Also we'll have donut holes and cider.
Click here to donate snacks and supplies for the party.
Urgent need: Expo Markers! I'm already down to only a few extras in our classroom. I'd appreciate donations if you are able to send in a few to share.
We'll continue our study of multiplication in Chapter 4 by learning to multiply 2-digit by 2-digit numbers. Click here to see what is taught in Chapter 4 and how you can support your child at home.

We are writing argumentative essays about the skills students will need for jobs in the future.
Our new science unit is all about sound. Students watched a video in which they could see things moving due to different sounds. We will learn how sound is a vibration which can travel through solids, liquids, and gasses. We'll explore sound waves throughout this unit.
