During our process from receiving, diagnostic, repair, quality control, and shipping, the customer’s data on the claimed device are not to be shared or downloaded. From a repair viewpoint, we will only repair the physical damage on the device.
The following procedures are in place for Damaged Media, Replacement Devices, and Beyond Repair.
We will replace the storage media with the appropriate type with a new operating system installed.
Data transfer from the original storage media is not handled at our repair facility. The damaged storage media will be sent back to the customer along with the repaired device.
If the replacement parts needed to repair the device exceed the devices coverage or replacement parts are not available, a replacement device will be procured for the claim.
If the procured device is of the same model:
The customer’s removable media will be swapped into the new device.
If the procured device is not of the same model:
The customer’s removable media will be shipped with the replacement device.
Unable to repair or unable to replace devices, will be settled by the adjusters under the customer’s policy.
For the repair facility:
The customer's device will be kept and the storage media will be in a secure area for up to 30 days before being destroyed.
A special arrangement may made per the customer and repair facility to cover the return shipping on the storage media.
