Before sending to solder re-flow

Fully Diagnose!

• Check for sound (if getting sound, check LCD cable connection and LCD)

• If shorting (boots/fan running but no display):

• Check charging port connection

• Check battery connection

• Unplug everything (speakers, cables, etc), plug in one by one to find cause of shorting

• Check charger, either the charger itself or the plug in can go bad!

  • Light indication! (blinking orange=battery, charging issue) (flashing blue light= 720/740 blue light error can be sent to re-flow)

When sending to solder/re-flow team, please:

• If more than one motherboard in box, label which motherboard needs repair

• Bag parts if they do not fit into the box

• Make sure to take tape off CPU (silver square on motherboard)

• Remove motherboard from device/bag/label!

***DO NOT RE-FLOW NEW MOTHERBOARDS-mark as defective and request a new one on the work order.***
