Steps to remove the headphone jack, front facing camera, and microphone from the device.
The connection for the headphone jack assembly is a locking style connector that needs to be released before the ribbon cable can be removed.
Use the spudger to flip the lock and remove the ribbon cable from the socket.
Locate and remove the two Phillips screws (#000) that secure the headphone jack to the body of the iPad 2.
Slide the spudger under the front-facing camera to pry up and remove it from the housing of the iPad.
To disconnect the cable for the front-facing camera from the tablet, use the spudger to pry it up and out of its socket and then remove the front-facing camera from the iPad 2.
Using tweezers or the spudger, maneuver the headphone jack assembly up and out of the iPad 2. Then peel up the microphone that is the last portion of the cable.
